We put in a 50 50 dual basin sink and i like the even split better than the 70 30 my mom had. For example my 70 30 ticor sink has 21 1 2 and 10 1 2 bowls both large enough to be useful. I would not even consider a 50 50 sink at all. If i were buying a double bowl sink i would go 70 30 as my first choice again to allow a large bowl big enough to set down large pans and not bang against the divider when using the sink. It s a large 50 50 so it feels like we have two full sinks.
I don t know why you say a 50 50 is. To me a 60 40 would have made the large bowl too small for my pans etc. 16 gauge 50 50 double bowl kitchen sink. Looks like not a lot of 70 30 out there anymore.
